H1b transfer after lottery

I work with an IT company for an American client. This year my company initiated my H1 which was selected in the lottery with my current company as petitioner. I got the receipt for it as well. Now, I came to know that there is a possibility that my client will take me on his payroll in few months.

What will happen in this case. Is there a possibility of transferring my VISA to new employer?

That's not VISA transfer, it's H1 transfer.

Your new employer can file your H1 only after your initial H1 is approved.

After H1B petition approval your client has to file a cap exempt H1B petition. Check your contract whether you signed a non-compete agreement with your current employer.

After approval, This cap exempt H1B petition which my new employer will file, can they do that before 1st Oct'14 or it can be be done only after October 1st?

AFAIK, they can file any time.
