I94 Expiry - overstay for 56 days

Dear Sir/Madam,

I overstayed in USA for 56days after I 94 expiry-  without my knowledge.

As soon as I found out about this, I made travel arrangements and I am currently in India.

I have mentioned about my overstay on DS 160 form. I am on Dependent H4 visa.

My Husband is on H1B and is working in USA. His I94 is valid for another 2 years.

Will my 56 days overstay have any impact on the H4 Visa stamping at the US consulate?

Should I be prepared with any additional documentation other than the normal H4 documents?

What reason should I give to the VO? Also, will this have any impact for the future (H4-H1B conversion, green card, etc)

In my opinion should not be an issue. Truth should be an answer.

You have no ban.  It may have an impact, but if you can explain the reason and demonstrate that you left ASAP after learning of it, you are unlikely to be denied on that basis alone.
