Change in job location and h1b amendment

My client location has been changed and my employer informed me that a new LCA has been filed for new location.I am not sure whether my employer has filed for h1b amendment for job location change.  I am planning to bring my family to USA.

 

Do I need to ask my employer to provide me approval of h1b amendment? If he has not filed yet, can it be a problem in Port of entry for my family? 

 

If employer has already filed and it is in processing stage, is it okay to bring my family here?

 

Will there be a new receipt number for h1b amendment?

If your family already had stamping on their passport wont be any problem can bring any time.

 

Ask your employer amendment approval letter.
