On H1B you cannot enter more than 10 days before your H1B start date. Link to comment

JoeF
CPT is a red flag, due to abuse by fraud "universities." Legitimate CPT is very rare. Care to tell us which university this is? Link to comment

rahul412
I want to enter on F1 Status...i am from Troy University. That depends on what type of work you are doing on CPT. If your H1 is filed with COS then, you might have some trouble during H1 processing like I94 mismatch. Is your CPT job and H1 job are one and same? Link to comment
SunnyR
Yes both are same. Link to comment
rahul412
Yes both are same. That means you are abusing CPT. You will be in trouble for abusing CPT. Forget H1, and stop working on CPT ASAP. Link to comment
