How do I know my application is selected or not? Thanks Your employer/attorney would get a receipt notice and H1B fee check would be cashed. Link to comment
JoeF
USCIS will send a receipt notice to the employer (and the lawyer) if the application was selected. They will return applications that have not been selected. Link to comment
t75
Wait to hear from your prospective employer. Link to comment
asha2020
If application gets selected you will receive notice through your attorney. If application doesn’t get picked up, your package and money will be sent back to your attorney. Link to comment

rahul412
If selected, then by the end of this month. But that's not sure. Link to comment

skc40
1. Wait for the receipt. 2. Find out from the Employer if your application fee check was cashed or not. 3. Call USCIS--Prepare to wait for more than 1 hour. You'll require your work address,I think it's lawyer info. (not sure, but it's the USCIS contact person on your behalf-- you'll need to review your H1B application for this), Your name etc. -- This is how I found out that I got selected in the lottery last year. 4. Call your International office to find out if your SEVIS status has been changed or not. If changed, you are selected. My international office was helpful on this and the director assured me that I can call everyday to find out if there was a change in the status. Link to comment
