L1B to H1b consular processing

Hi,

 

Presently I am on L1B visa working for employer A. I have H1b approved for consular processing for employer B. I am going for H1B stamping to get change of status from L1 to H1. In case, if the visa officer put my case in administrative processing,

 

1. can I ask the visa officer my passport back and enter US on L1 visa?

2. What happens to my H1 b case?

2. Unless you withdraw your visa application it will be processed.

1. If your L1 is not cancelled during the interview then you can

2. Nothing happens to your H1 case.

 

Why do you think that your H1 will be under AP?

I want to be on Safe side and enter USA on L1B visa if H1B is denied or Admin process. 

What are the scenarios that L1B will be cancelled, can I ask the VO what will be my L1b status?

I believe if your H1B is put under 221g or denied they will not cancel your L1B visa.

How are you safe if you intend to work for B?
