H4 - Administrative processing

Hi All,

Myself and wife have been to india in january. Both were on h1-B. My H1 got stamped and there was an issue with her H1. So we with drew the application.

We then applied for her H4 on April 1st 2011. Hyderabad counsulate has atken the passport and has given a case number telling that it would need administrative processing. It has been more than 7 weeks by now.

Please help. Is there anything which can be done to expedide the process.

Any suggestion would be very helpful.
