H1 transfer COE

Hi,

 

I'm leaving for India early May and wouldn't get my new I-797 before that. I can have the I-797, LCA of the new company emailed to me when I'm in India. My H-1 is valid till 2016. Will the photocopy of I-797 and other docs be accepted during re-entry (or) do I need the hard copy of the new I-797?

Hardcopy of original is required. Have your employer mail those documents to you to india.
