Can multiple payrolls from different firms be an issue?

Hello - 

 

I have recently transferred from Company A to Company B. After few months of my H1-B transfer, my ex-firm A wants to settle my dues through multiple payments on a parallel payroll along with my current payroll from firm B. In any scenario (especially during Visa Stamping, Port Of Entry Questioning, Green Card processing etc.,), can running multiple payrolls simultaneously from two different firms be an issue? Please advice.

If it's money owed to you from when you were working there on H1, it isn't a problem.

Just make sure you have documentation for it.
