H1B Transfer - Gap between jobs

Hi Experts,

 

My H1B transfer is approved. 

 

My last date of employment at current job is April 17th.

 

My start date of employment at new job is April 28th.

 

Will not working for 12 days even though I have a new H1B - put me out of status?

 

Will this cause an issue later on for my GC processing?

Yes, you were out of status. Should not be an issue for GC processing.
