Travel to Canada with H4-H1 COS pending

Gurus,

 

I currently have H4 visa status and travel between US-Canada with no change in my I94 (both I94 and valid H4 visa for 2 more years)without any issues.

 

My employer applied for my H1B this april in the 2015 H1-B Cap.Assuming it gets picked up in the lottery: Can i continue travelling back and forth between US-Canada?Will it affect the H4-H1B COS in any ways?
