thecreators
My employer had paid me the salary for last two weeks for what I have worked and asking me to pay back as he was not paid by his vendor( my employer -> consultant -> direct vendor -> client ). He has reported in collection agent and currently it shows in my credit history as negative impact. Thanks Link to comment
JoeF
It is irrelevant if the vendor didn't pay. Your salary is "free and clear", without any restrictions. It is the employer's risk if his business contact doesn't pay him. That's why he is an employer. File a complaint with DOL on form WH4. And find a better employer, one who isn't a fly-by-night operation. Link to comment

omshiv
File a complaint with DOL...and also hire yourself a good attorney to sue him as he screwed up your Credit history. Link to comment

t75
Getting payment from the client is his problem. He has to pay you no matter whether he is ever paid. Find a decent employer and report to DOL. Link to comment
t75
Also you can contest the filing on your credit report. Link to comment
