swamy74
Hi All, My labor was filed last week, I was not asked for my experience letters from the previous employers. Will I be required to submit them during the next phases of Green Card? Will USCIS validate/Check our experiences at any point of time during the GC process? Thanks in advance Swamy. Link to comment
Attorney_9
The Department of Labor can request experience documentation as part of an audit. The Employer must provide proof of your qualifying experience at the I-140 stage. USCIS can verify your experience at any time during the GC process. In some cases, the details of your listed foreign experience can be forwarded to the Department of State so that the local U.S. consulate can investigate to verify that the information provided is true and accurate. loginanil
as per my understanding, in the perm application also list downs experience details of a candidate so it looks, the experience info put on your perm application is less as required by job application check with attorney for this detail if you would like to pursue it Link to comment
