My question is regarding the “Part 23 (have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer) and part 29 on N400 Form”. I was in an accident in 2009 and we filed a Crash Report with police. It was my fault “Improper Lane change”… I was not cited and I did not pay any fines. OFFENSE CHARGED, OFFENSE DESCRIPTION and CITITAION# are all BLANK on the police crash report. My questions is Should I mention this on N400 Form? Should I answer YES to Part 23 and provide details on part 29 on N400 Form? Thanks in advance for any responses... Link to comment
t75 Posted March 27, 2014 Report Share Posted March 27, 2014 A traffic accident alone is not a crime. If it is cause by DUI (not your case as stated, the DUI is the problem not the collision. If you are concerned about your case, set your mind at ease by having an immigration attorney review your petition after you complete the paperwork and are ready to send it. If this is your only worry, you should be good to go. Link to comment
