H1 - General Stamping question

Scenario:             Person “A” has entered USA(with Company XX) on L1 visa and completed his 5 years. On his 6^th year he has transferred(New company YY) to H1 visa and completed his 6th year. Person “A” has applied for GC and cleared his 140. Person “A” has applied for H1 extension(end of 6^th year) and got his 3 year visa.

 

Question:            If he want to travel outside USA, does he need to apply fresh H1 or he need go to US consulate in foreign country only for stamping? Please clarify the same.

VISA is issued ONLY in foreign countries, not inside the US.

If your H1 visa is expired, then yes you need new H1 visa to enter into US on H1.
