simk
Hello Friends, I am posting this on behalf of a friend: He has an approved I140 with company A and has a job title as Sr Java developer, that was way back in 2010.. Now he has a good offer from Company B with job title, Java Architect. The job duties are at least 60% different, but it is the same field 'IT'. Is I140 portable, once he applies for H1B transfer with company B? please let me know you valuable suggestions... Link to comment

chakrakr
You are right. The PD is portable even if the job description changes. You will need to start the whole process (from PERM) again though Link to comment
