Statement of need- New guidelines

Hi,

I'm doing medical fellowship on J1. To renew DS2019 every year, statement of need (SON) is required.

From this year, there are new guidelines for getting SON which requires us to sign Surety bond of Rs 5lakh.

Anybody who has started this process and is familiar with the process, please write.
