EAD Dependent with prior EB3 application

Hello,

I had a EB3 I-140 approved PD:Aug 2008 and wife had EB2 PD:Mar 2010. EB2 became current in 2012 and we applied for my wife's I-485 with me as a dependent. We both now have a EAD and AP and have already used it for international travel. The dates have since been retrogressed and we do not see the GC getting issued for the next 3-4 years. 

 

Can I reuse my old priority date of Aug 2008 and file for EB3/EB2 again? Do you think it is going to complicate our case and we should rather wait?
