Visitor visa travel to canada?

Hello,

 

My Mother in law is coming to the US in April with B2 visa

After she is staying with us couple of months she need to go to Canada and stay there for few more months

 

My questions are

1. What is the max allowable stay both in the US & Canada all together
2. When she is re-entering from Canada is it like she get a new I 94 with 6 months validity
3. Whether she need to have return ticket from the US when she arrives first in the US or can she have a return ticket from Canada

1. In US it is based on I94. She needs a visitor visa to Canada.

2. I doubt that.

3. I would suggest it would be better to fly back to home country from Canada rather than trying to re-enter US.
