ub1234 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Hi all, I had a question for applying of ITIN.I am a full time student and entered US in July 2013 on h4.Now I have changed my status from h4 to f1 in feb 2014.I am not eligible for SSN since I do not have a job. Question is while completing the W7 to apply for ITIN should we mention the visa status as F1 or H4.Since I will be filling jointly with my spouse under married jointly category in order to get some tax credits. Please assist urgently if you have any information on this . regds Link to comment
