Filing H1B in April 2014. Can i go India and be back by Oct 2014 ??

Hi,

I am currently on F1 status (OPT EAD extension). OPT expiring in July 2015.

I am planning on applying for H1 B (premium) this April 2014. Since the start date of my H1 would be October 2014, can i go to India for a month or two and come back before October on OPT status ?

Would there be any issue with my I 94 (as it may change) or do i require H1 B stamping in India ?

Please let me know. Appreciate your help.
