VLAD02
Hello All, I have Master's in Electrical Engineering and currently working as Electrical Engineer since 2010. I have 10 months work experience as a Programmer Analyst in an IT company back in India. (BE Electronics Engineering) My question is: If I find a consultant/ software company who is willing to apply for my greencard and switch to the IT job, will I be eligible for the EB2 category? Thanks Link to comment
t75
Why would you do something so stupid as to put yourself in a huge group of workers when you are working with a relatively elite degree? Why would you go to work for a consulting company if you have a real job? If the job requirements specify an MS in EE as a qualification, it works. Link to comment

That depends on job description. For EB2 you need to have master's or Bachelor's+5 yrs of exp in that field. You can get EB2 job in EE. Link to comment
