H1-B from Profit-Nonprofit-Profit

Hi,

 

I have a question regarding the H1-B Profit and Non-Profit.

 

I'm on Profit H1-B Company and if I join Non-Profit H1 Company, can I join back to a profit H1 company without going thorough the H1-B quota process again before my 6 yrs H1-B completes ? I'm thinking that as I have already gone through quota process once I don't have to go through it again before my 6 yrs complete irrespective of Profit or Non-Profit. Please let me know,

Yes, you are correct.

If you have been counted for the quota, you are not counted again until you have used up the whole 6 years. That means you can freely change between for-profit and non-profit employers.
