Can I travel after submitting the requested documentation (and before receiving my EAD card)? And my 12 month EAD expired on 30th Nov 2013. My university agreed to fedex the EAD card to India, as soon as they get it. But they felt there might be a chance that my OPT extension application would be automatically canceled if I exist the US. What if your OPT approval takes more time to process?? Better to travel after getting the card. Link to comment
F1struggle Posted February 20, 2014 Report Share Posted February 20, 2014 Do you have a valid visa stamp? I believe technically, you "can" travel. But you probably shouldn't. Can you wait and travel? When did you apply for your initial application? Link to comment
