Started work by 1st Oct 2013 and company shutdown Nov 2013 Went back on H4 Visa Now got a job again, do I have to wait till 1st Apr 2014 to file for H1b ? Do I have to wait till 1st Oct 2015 to start the job ? Link to comment

Do I have to wait till 1st Oct 2015 to start the job ? No, an employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition anytime and on approval you can start working immediately. Link to comment
