H1B Extension after expiry

Hi

 

My current H1 expired in December 2013. I still have years left on the 6 year limit. The extension petiton was filed by the employer and I have got an RFE from USCIS. Meanwhile, I am planning to quit my job and move back to India.

 

If I leave before the decision is taken, does it diminish any chances of an H1B extension some time in the future by another employers since I did not follow up this extension petition to the end?
