Does your DSO know about this? Forget about H1B as software developer. Link to comment
t75
You are supposed to be working on OPT in your field. Who knows if your visa will be approved. It is obvious that your job does not meet the educational requirements as a specialty occupation since they hired you. Link to comment
rahul412
For H1 you need a degree from the field which is directly related to your H1 job. Certificates won't help, either you should have a degree or prior working experience. I am wondering how come a student with Non IT degree got an IT job in OPT? Link to comment
JoeF
You are working illegally. The OPT allows you to work in your field of study ONLY! And if you don't have a degree in CS, you won't get an H1 as software developer. Link to comment
