F-1 staping in Canada after COS from H-4

Hi,

 

I came to US on H4 visa and applied for COS to F-1 which was approved. I have finished 4 quarters of study and would want to get it stamped before I graduate in Dec 2014.

I plan on getting it stamped in Canada between mid March to March end. I wanted to know answers to a few question before i get out of the country.

 

1. What are the probabilities of approval / disapproval

 

2. If rejected will my H-4 be invoked automatically?

 

3. If not invoked, can I get an appointment for H-4 stamping in Canada itself or do I go back to India?

 

4. If I get on to H-4, come back and re-apply for a COS, what impact will it have on my OPT?
