Is it a good idea if one can afford money? But, Can it disqualify him/her? Yes, multiple employers can file H1B petitions. But, it is illegal to pay H1B fees, as I believe that is your intention. Is it a good idea if one can afford money? But, Can it disqualify him/her? Multiple applications don't increase the chances. Don't listen to rumors. This is not like the Powerball lottery. No sane employer would spend the money to file an H1 for you if they don't have the reasonable expectation that you will start to work there. And you are not allowed to pay the H1 fees. Doing so would only result in you not getting an H1 at all. So, if you want to not get an H1, go ahead and have multiple employers file an H1. Geez. When will people learn that gaming the system, cheating, doesn't work? Link to comment

By filing multiple H1's doesn't increase your chances. And yes it will disqualify you if you get caught for paying H1 fee. Link to comment
