URGENT: I-797 Question

Hi,

        I am currently working on h1b for last 7 years 

 

My current petition is valid till 04/16/2014

My new petition is valid from 04/17/2014 to 04/16/2017

 

I am travelling to India beginning of March for stamping and my return date is mid of March.

 

I have taken appointment based upon latest approval which kicks off from 04/17/2014

 

Questions:-

 

1. I guess VO will give visa based upon latest approval?

2. Will there be an issue in port of entry since or should be fine since my existing petition is valid till 04/16
