H1b application with Misdemeanor

Hi,

 

I was arrested for Public Drunkenness a few months ago while in college. They took my fingerprint and photographed me.

 

Does this affect my chance of getting an H1b visa. The client I will be working for is a prominent company.

 

Any replies are appreciated.

 

Have any others managed to get their H1b despite a public drunkenness misdemeanor.
