enter on B2, while H1 is stamped

After working in US for a year, my employer send me to India due to unavailability of project, till a new project is assigned. 

 

Is it okay to travel on B2 while I am still employed on H1b. 

 

Since I am not paid in US, I should be eligible to enter on B2. But just wanted to confirm it  to make sure the H1 is not affected.

Yes, you can enter as long as your purpose is to visit US and go around.
