H1B Amendment - RFE Stage - Is it possible to withdraw application?

Hi,

 

I got an RFE for my H1B Amendment - work location change application. Could not get the signed contract document from client within the time, in order to respond to RFE. Is it possible for employer to withdraw at this stage without responding for RFE? Any implications with it?

 

Once withdrawn, I can go back to previously approved location and work from there. No issues with it from client side.

 

Please advise.

If employer does not respond to RFE the amendment gets denied and you should be fine.
