Waiting for H1-B RFE respone. My L1b extension got denied. How long can I be in Us

My L1-B Visa expired on Aug-11-2013 and I applied for L1-B VISA extension. Side by side I have applied for H1B  also in March-2013. I got RFE for H1B and submitted documents for H1B on Sep-24-2013. since then I am waiting for response. For my L1-B extension, I got RFE also and submitted documents on Jan-10-2014. On Jan-31-2014 my L1-B extension got denied. I am still waiting for my H1-B response. How long can I be in US on the basis of my H1-B visa(till today I did not get any response). What should be the best stop to take at this moment. Please help,  Its very urgent for me.
