Transfered L2 to H4 unable to give Knowledge test at DMV

Hello All

 

As captioned in the title reason being my Last Name in  SSN (issued when was on L2) is reflecting in the middle but I don't have a middle name.

 

DMV of NJ not allowing me to take Knowledge test advised to get the name corrected from SSN after several visits to DMV, when I checked at SSN office they are not willing to correct name because I am on H4 neither willing to issue SSN not required letter for H4 visa holder.

 

Due to this problem not able to meet 6 point check per NJ state law. Any information/help would be greatly appreciated.
