My SEVES number is not yet deleted from the record. So my question is can i come now to US before my SEVES number is deleted and will there be any kind of problem in the port of entry. There is no way that you can come to the U.S. before being re-instated by the university / college. SEVIS is only one of the requirements for a F-1 visa. Another requirement is that you have been admitted as or are a full-time student in good standing at the university / college. Your suspension from the university / college for poor academic performance means you do not meet the requirement of being a full-time student in good standing, and thus your F-1 visa is no longer valid. SEVIS by itself does not provide any basis for entry to the U.S. Link to comment
