kriish99 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 Hello, My OPT Extension application was received by USCIS ON JAN-09. My OPT end date is Jan-11. My case was rejected and sent back to me with all documentation saying missing signature on I765. I signed the document and mailed the documents back to USCIS on Jan-19. On Jan-28 application fee was deducted from my bank account. I read in one of the post saying the application will be denied due to late submission. Please advice me what might be my application status either approved or will be denied. Instead of waiting for my denial should I apply for admission in any school. If denied what are my chances of approval if I file for MTR. Please advice me. Link to comment

Such applications have deadlines, and they take a couple of months. An MTR would also not work, since it was your fault. You will have to leave the country Link to comment
