Total Duration of CPT

Hello All-

 

- I used CPT for 11 months in my First masters and didnot apply for OPT. Now if I take CPT  in my second masters will it add to that 11 months

 

- Am I eligible to apply OPT as this is my second masters. I didnot use OPT in my first masters

You should avoid CPT. That's a red flag nowadays, due to abuse.

Abuse of CPT is a career killer.

You will be eligible for OPT. Just make sure that you are not abusing CPT.
