philonavis
Hi Iam Philo.I have been here at US on dependent Visa (H4). Being an H4 visa holder and having work experience at a Nationalized Bank in India I have two questions 1) Do Banks at US sponsor for H1B visas? 2) Do I require any banking certification course to be pursued from US to get a job here? t75
You must have at least a 4 year degree and the job must require a degree for H1B sponsorship. Some banks sponsor. Link to comment
GcLLC
Hi Iam Philo.I have been here at US on dependent Visa (H4). Depends on the position. For higher level positions most of the bigger banks would sponsor for H1. 2. Depends on the position you are interested in. Some positions might require a specific qualification like CPA, CFA etc or a certification in a certain area. That said, many jobs from nationalized Indian banks have little to no relevance in the US banking system. If you have a CA/MBA or a technical qualification (like B.Tech / MCA) + work experience in an Indian bank, then you are more likely to find suitable openings in US banks and US financial services sector. - GcLLC Link to comment
