My OPT switched over to my H-1b on October 1, 2013. and so my H1b stamp expires in 2016. Two quick questions: * The firm I'm with apparently continued to not deduct FICA even after the H-1B kicked in on October 1, 2013. Since recent paystubs are required for the H-1b transfer process, will this nuance be an issue? * If yes, would it suffice to start paying FICA now and settle the ones since October 1?
