Visiting Visa for SingleParent

Hi All,

 

My Mother(widowed) is going for Visiting visa interview next week.

1)Is Marriage Certificate required for one of the Visiting Visa Documents(It is not available,If it is mandatory please suggest an alternative).We are producing my Father's death certificate.

 

2)Since we have to show a Tie with home country,can my mother say she is staying my sister who is married and my bro-in-law is working and have two kids at India.

1. Not mandatory. Father's death certificate would help, just in case.

2. Well, in my opinion it is not a solid reason to convince VO. Sometimes it might be. You never know.

Is there any solid reason to convince VO. I have a Flat on my Name at India,Can my mother show it as a Tie that she has to take care of it.

Sorry I don't think that will help either. Better take the help of a good immigration attorney.

Tell her to appear, answer all questions truthfully, and have the attitude that if she get the visa then it is good and if not that it is not the end of the world.  Desperation to obtain a visa shows an intent other than a visit.
