!!!Can the Spouse change job during the GC Process-Please Advice

Me and my wife are employed with H1B. If my wife starts the GC process, Is it allowed for me to change jobs and what happens to my status if my H1B expires during the GC process.

Also, does anyone how long it is taking for EB2 EAD.

Any suggestion or detail is appreciated.

Me and my fiancee both are on H1-B and my company is willing to do GC but hers is not. We are planning to get married and then apply for GC as a couple.

What happens after her H1B expires and my GC is in process, what will happen to her status? Can she work or is she out of status?
