catx Posted January 15, 2014 Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 The simple answer is no, it is not "possible to work from home (online) for some Indian company" on a H-4 visa. That would be deemed U.S. employment (as you are in the U.S.), and would be unauthorized, illegal work. There is no specific, or any other, way to get paid or otherwise work on a H-4 visa. JoeF Posted January 15, 2014 Report Share Posted January 15, 2014 You can NOT do that. On H4, you can NOT work AT ALL. It doesn't matter where the job is located, it matters where you are located. As long as you are in the US in H4 status, you can NOT work. Period. Link to comment
