I'm planning to travel back to India and apply for H1B by April 2014. Can i travel to the US on H4 by June before i get to know the status of My H1B ? Will this create any problems for my H1B processing? Incase, it is approved, how can i get the stamping done ? Kindly suggest Regards akella Link to comment

Kindly suggest Regards akella Yes, you can travel on H4 when your H1B petition is in process. Once H1B is approved you need to exit and enter US with H1B visa to be on H1B status from Oct 1st 2014.
