When to interfile

I am on H1B visa and my employer is starting my green card process in EB-2 category. My wife has an approved I-140 in EB3 category with a 2011 priority date.

 

I heard from someone that I can take advantage of my wife's priority date using a process called interfiling. Is that right? When is the right time to interfile? Any help will be appreciated.

You may NOT use her priority date.  Interfiling generally refers to using a spouse's country of birth.
