Passport expirying - OPT extension validity date ???

People please advise,

 

My OPT was expyring in MAR 2014

My passport expiry date is Feb 2015. I cannot apply for passport renewal before 1 yr from expiry date for my country.

So, I can't apply for passpot renewal.

 

Question:

I am applying for OPT extension. Will USCIS will give 17 month extension ?

Orthey will give only untill my passport expiry date ir Feb 2015 in my case.

 

Please help, if anyone went through this situation.

OPT expiration doesn't depend on your passport's expiration date. In fact their is no relationship between OPT and passport.

Opt card extension. Will that be co relates to pass port expiration date ?

Untill I am in US, my I 94 will be D/S.
