Is Visa Stamping required or not ?(Valid H1B Extension but Current Visa Stamp Expiring in months )

Hi Folks,

 

New job and they filed H1 Transfer as well as Extension.

 

New I-797 (new company, with Extension) : Sep-2015

 

Old I-797 (old company) : June-2014

 

Visa Stamping Expiration Date on Passport : June-2014

 

Visiting India : Feb-2014 to Mar-2014

 

I found lots of post which said that stamping is not required and I can enter US using old VISA stamp and new I-797

 

My concern is with VISA Extension , does it still apply ?

You can go and come with the existing visa and new I-797 (if you have already started working for new company), otherwise you can show your old I-797 because it is valid until Jun-2014.

I don't exactly understand your visa extension concern which you've mentioned.
