DOB Mismatch in Passport and Birth Certificate Urgent

Hello Everyone,

 

I recently got married in India. I am in US working on H1B and have applied for GC and my  PD is 2012.

 

I found that my wife DOB in Birth Certificate is mentioned as "08-20-1986" but in all her

education certificates, passport, leaving certificate etc it is "07-20-1986", so there is difference of 1 month.

 

The Birth Certificate has correct date of Birth.

 

Can someone please guide me what are my options ?

 

Changing all the documents right from education certificates and passport etc will take long time which is causing me lot of stress.

 

My Questions are 

 

1. Once I submit my I-485 can my wife be on H4 visa if her GC is denied becoz of DOB issue ?

 

2. Will my wife be allowed to stay in US if she not able to get her GC.

 

3. My wife has H4 interview on 10th Jan 2013. Can we inform the visa officer about this issue so that it can be taken     care ?
