EAD/i-485 pending- want to change employer and labor category

Hi,

 

I have EAD with I-485 pending. labor category is eb3

 

I want to change employer and request upgrade from eb3 to eb2 .

 

Is this possible during the transition to new job?

 

or do i need to change the job and then wait for new EAD card and then request eb3 to eb2 upgrade?

 

Please advice.
