ekniranjan Posted December 20, 2013 Report Share Posted December 20, 2013 Hi Guys, My current H1b is valid until feb28th,2014 and i appled for H1 extension and expecting it to get approved until feb 26th ,2017. Question is : If i go for H1B in Jan 1st week. will i get stamped until feb 28,2014 or they stamp until my new h1b extension is approved ..i .e., feb 26th 2017. Thanks in advance. Link to comment

You need to show VO both I797s and you would get a longer visa validity. Link to comment

Obviously your new 797 will be valid for 3 years from the date of acceptance/issue. So if you go for interview after that date, then the stamping will be until the end date of the new 797 Link to comment
